A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.

I'm currently running 25x8x12 fronts and 25x10x12 rears. When I buy my hipers this fall I am getting them set up to run 25x8x12 all the way around. A lot of guys are running them and after talking to some of them I was convinced to give it a shot. GBC Dirt Commanders of course!

I have never tried 12x8's all around but I will say if your racing a novice class stock clutching will be fine. Try 4x4 AB at GNCC and you'll want clutches as well as a few other go fast goodies. I race 4x4 senior at Nationals and the top couple riders in my class have re-mapped ECU, clutches as well as a few other goods. I just recently dropped a bunch of parts into my Renegade and it is scary fast now.

the 25x8x12 will fill like it wants to tip easier in corner. The super fast pro guys on can am mainly all run the wider on the back. My brother has won several 4x4 pro races and overalls on stock clutches.

I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the 10s for the rear. I've tried both and they just seem to work better for me.

Not all use 10s. Me, Buck, Tanner, zac, all use 8s. I hate 10s, feels much heavier and acceleration is slower. Again this is just my opinion.
