Default Idle adjuster 450x

So do the idle control motors get really hot on these normally? Been trying to work out a starting issue and noticed the idle controller gets really hot at times. Was thinking might just replace it with a gt thunder idle adjuster thought someone might have a used one or something.

Yes they do get rather warm. What ecu are you running? I run gt idle adjusters on all my bikes and my customers bikes.

lol I know how to make them idle. Every bike seems to be a little different but if I have the bike I can make changes in the fuel map and get them to idle. I have them working well with vortex now also. It took me a little bit to figure out but I seem to have a handle on it.

The bike I am working on right now is on a stock ecu. He had a vortex but couldn't get it to run right so he switched to stock and sold the vortex, against my advice.

Well I've never tried a manual adjuster on a stock ecu but it should work. I would imagine the engine light will come on though.
