Exclamation RD4 SOCCS June 19th at Humboldt Hills

On Saturday June 19th, The Southern Ohio Cross Country Series comes back home to Humboldt Hills Motorcycle Club in Bainbridge, Ohio.
Big things are in store for round 4. Longest course ever in an SOCCS event for all classes.
We've had more time to utilize the new property attached to Humboldt Hills. Expect to see some nice new trails for the kids and adults.
We are pulling out all the stops for this round and treating you to some great live music throughout the day and night.
At 4pm a great new band out of South Salem, Ohio will perform.
Cheap Wine and Bread have received rave reviews from all the local music goers as a fresh new band that taps into the classic rock feel, but creates a new vibe with their roots into blues, bluegrass and flat out rock and roll.
You can check them out here;

They will also be performing a 2nd set later in the evening.

Also performing that evening and into the night will be Ross counties favorite sweetheart, Stacey Skaggs.
The sweet sultry styling's of Stacey will make you feel like you a watching an artist well beyond their years.
While touching on many different genres, you will never notice that some of the songs you just heard for the first time.
Check out Stacey here;

Finally topping the evening off with a bang is a treat like no other as One Under brings there regional act to the ravines of Ross County.
Members include Ed McGee formerly of Ekoostik Hookah, Johnny Polansky formerly of Ekoostik Hookah, who has also performed in the past with The Wailers, CJ Chenier, Bob Wier of the Grateful Dead and others, and Mike Iannicello of the Ark Band.

"after listening to their music ....I know I'll be seeing One Under amongst the upper tiers of rock and jam music."
-S.D. Simone, CMH Lifestyles Magazine, Columbus, Ohio

Best of all, your gate fee gets you in for all the days activities.

Now in its 7th Season(that right 7th) the SOCCS has been enjoying a great reputation as a small but very well organized series in Southern Ohio. These days it seems there are Harescrambles popping up everywhere, but back in 2003 there was only Motocross in the South-central to south-western part of the state. While many have come and gone, with the support of the best riders and fans in the State, we have managed to thrive and grow every year. It has truly been a blessing to spend time with our long extended family.

All the info you will need can be found at www.soccracing.com or you can even ask questions at our forums on www.harescrambletalk.com or you can view the flier here http://humboldthills.com/images/2010soccsfliers.jpeg

Gates open at 8am and racing starts at 8:45am.

Hare scrambles are conducted on marked courses over rugged natural terrain. Events are run for prescribed race time, typically two hours for adults and 45-60 minutes for kids. Competitive riders not only need to be fast, but also physically fit enough to maintain a race pace for hours at a time.
Since hare scrambles are conducted on closed courses, operator licenses aren't required and the machines do not need to be licensed for street use.

We hope to see you Saturday June 19th
